Thanks for your posting on this site. From my experience, there are times when softening right up a photograph could possibly provide the digital photographer with a bit of an artsy flare. Often times however, that soft blur isn't what exactly you had at heart and can usually spoil an otherwise good picture, especially if you intend on enlarging it.
