I have noticed that in cameras, extraordinary receptors help to {focus|concentrate|maintain focus|target|a**** automatically. Those sensors connected with some digital cameras change in contrast, while others work with a beam of infra-red (IR) light, specially in low lighting. Higher standards cameras at times use a blend of both devices and may have Face Priority AF where the photographic camera can 'See' a new face and focus only in that.
