  Aw, this was an exceptionally nice post. Spending some time and actual effort to produce a really good article… but what can I say… I hesitate a whole lot and don't manage to get anything done.

  So — been on this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, so figured I'd say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am UK based, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I'm coming from.
  
  The reason I started using it was actually embarrassing — I never could get my head round what an ew return actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I'd eyeball it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even the boring singles.
  
  Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — type in the price and your stake and you get the return straight away, fractions or decimals. There's also the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that's where I always got it wrong.   What genuinely changed how I bet were the geekier bits. The probability converter that shows how much the bookie's taking, plus a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I'm splitting a race.
  
  Not all sunshine though. The layout feels a bit basic — no frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On mobile it's usable though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There's no app, just the site — doesn't bother me just flagging it.
  
  So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, give it a go — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.

  Picked something concrete from the post that I will use immediately, and a look at nohonabe added another concrete piece, content that produces immediately useful output rather than just abstract appreciation is content that earns its place in my regular rotation without needing any further evaluation from me at this point honestly.
